Picture a traditional Indian wedding proposal: the guy's family sends a rishta and the girl’s family accepts or rejects. This is how their wedding story began, but with a twist. Since it’s the 21st century, Facebook was obviously involved. Arzina received a message on February 14th, 2013 from Shehzad, cliché, I know, but as soon as they began talking they were inseparable. Just a few messages later, they both knew they were the one for each other. Call it cheesy, or call it love at first sight, whatever you call it, here we are today. That very weekend Shehzad flew from Atlanta to Dallas to take Arzina out on a real date, he thought she was too good to be true. After they met, they knew for sure that they would get married to each other. Their families talked and gave their blessings. On March 24th 2013, about a month after Facebook, texting, calling and face timing, they got engaged. After a year of countless numbers of trips back and forth, the wedding day is finally here. April 12th, 2014 will be the day Arzina and Shehzad will be a happily married couple.
